Hi all! Welcome to my blog page. This probably means you're a reader, or interested in books but even if you're not, hello!

My name is Andreia Sofia, but just call me Sofia for simplicity's sake. I reside in the (perpetually?) rainy UK. My pronouns are she/her and they/them - call me either, I like hearing both equally. 

I decided to start a book review blog because I spend way too much of my time reading and not actually doing any of my work so I thought I might as well turn my constant ramblings about books into a tangible blog. And doing this eases the ears of my friends and family!

I love all genres and age categories, from middle-grade, romance, to contemporary YA, to philosophical works of literature in the adult category and more. I read everything from fiction, to poetry, to anthologies, and non-fiction works. My favourite genres however tend to be in the realm of historical fiction, anything to do with ancient history (fiction and non-fiction alike!), general literary fiction, and books centered around mythology. I don't tend to lean towards fantasy or sci-fi, but I'll never count them out!

Some of my ultimate favourite books include The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater, The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, and The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan among many many many others.
